It turns out that SF won't let me use WGET on their system, and that media wiki does a lot of crazy stylesheet acrobatics, so I did have to edit the docs page to use my stylesheet, but it did work. Also, b/c I'd rather not link to the freegreentea wiki, I did go in and cut the bottom off of the pages so they don't get spidered and stuff. It isn't a seamless solution by any stretch, but it was pretty easy, doing it for four or five pages wouldn't kill me. -a |

Hi all - The database request is "being processed" and should be ready by early this afternoon. Anyone of us can access the project web site by secure shelling to: shell.sf.net Use your regular sourceforge username and password. Then, change to this directory: /home/groups/l/li/lightningbug/ There is a file called db.conf that has the db connection info. We can all write files to the project directory, but if we want people to be able to change our files, we will need to manually make the group writable (chmod g+w file_name). jamie |

Sorry, yes I'm screwing up the original plan. My apologies. I'd like to come at 11:00 and brain storm some abstracting LB from pagetool ideas with daniel and anyone else who can make it at 11:00 - but since 1:00 is the original time nobody should feel pressure to come eariler :-). When everyone is there - I'd like to discuss the compass for change project and what there needs are to see if it is something we think lightningbug can do. Unfortunately, I'll need to leave around 4:00 or so ... I will upoc this out tonight unless I hear otherwise about this plan not working. jamie On Feb 25, 2005, at 6:02 PM, Amanda Bee wrote: > I don't care. > > I can be anywhere whenever, I am lazy like that. > > I am not going to check email again for a while tho so if anyone is > feeling unilateral, maybe this would be a good moment for the UPOC > list or sumfin. > > -a > > Daniel Kahn Gillmor wrote: >> the initial plan was indeed for 1pm. >> i'm afraid i actually have a noon-to-1pm call scheduled on saturday. >> i'm happy to start earlier than that, however, (even if some folks >> can't make it 'til later) and then retreat to my room to take the >> call, if y'all don't mind the rudeness. >> peace, >> --dkg >> On February 25, lib...@gm... said: >> > Hi all, >> > > we originally said 1:00 pm, but unfortunately i think i >> might be >> > late even if we keep it at 1:00. hey all - can someone remind me what time we're meeting tomorrow? I will have to leave early (like 4:00 pm) - so if possible I'd like to start early. Ok, by early I mean maybe 11:30. jamie |

d'oh! well, it's been a while, and i'm rusty. i forgot to update the internal version number within class.lb.lightningbug.php before i tagged version 1.9. so version 1.9 doesn't even report its version number correctly. so now version 1.9.1 has been created, which *does* report its version number correctly. otherwise there's no changes between 1.9.1 and 1.9. i've pulled version 1.9 from http://lair.fifthhorseman.net/~dkg/lb/ ; if you grabbed that tarball, you should grab 1.9.1 instead, and destroy the 1.9 tarball. sorry 'bout that. enjoy version 1.9.1! --dkg |

hey all-- lightningbug v1.9 has been tagged. The changes are: 0) Dan Check's nifty overhaul of the configuration files -- you'll need to modify config.inc.php to complete the upgrade! 1) A vetter can now claim an escalated post as their own responsibility without immediately deciding what to do it. This de-escalates the listing, and adds it to the vetter's assigned listings. It shows up as a possible extra action for escalated listings in the vetting view. 2) Each board now has a setting about what to do when a post author responds to a req_info request. The default is the same behavior as usual: assign to the current "slacker vetter" for the pool. But now there's also a choice to have LB assign it back to the vetter who requested more info in the first place. 3) There are some minor database changes needed to support items 1 and 2. 1 and 2 were added to make the system more useful to the folks at http://www.radicalreference.info/ If yer not on CVS, you can grab a clean tarball of the 1.9 release here: http://lair.fifthhorseman.net/~dkg/lb/ which also contains a detached gpg signature for the tarball, should you desire to check the integrity. See y'all Saturday! regards, --dkg |

Theoretically we should be talking about development on the SourceForge list ... Dan Check wrote: > Hi, > > Congrats to all who got counter inaugural up and running!
