Welcome to the Light Legacy MUD Project!

The Light Legacy MUD project is an attempt at making an open-source version of the great MUD Dark-Legacy, written/modified/created by Celeborn. We'll attempt to recreate the several features, including pets, crafting, runes, and manual combat, that have come to make Dark Legacy one of the best MUDs out there. Unfortunately, the owner has stopped administering the MUD, and it's all but fallen into disrepair. The source code is also not available, thus making this project a necessity.

The code you find in here is based off of the SmaugFuss 1.9 code, which is freely available and distributed.
