Hi, I just noticed that x11vnc/libvncserver is not working with thread support enabled and IPv6. It just hangs forever in listenerRun() (inside the accept() call). When running x11vnc with "-threads" and do "telnet ::1 5900" (or localhost instead of ::1 with IPv6 configured accordingly) I get # telnet ::1 5900 Trying ::1... Connected to ::1. Escape character is '^]'. But nothing more happens. When terminating x11vnc, it correctly says "Connection closed by foreign host.". Obviously a different code path is taken without thread support so everything works well. Am I wrong or is a listen() missing in listenerRun() ? I do not plan to actively use IPv6 support right now but just wanted to let you know about this issue. Best regards Toby |
