However, right now (correct me if I'm wrong) there are no devices with multiple storage IDs, so we can't test it. The PTP spec. also says that a storage ID of 0 means the player should decide - which is exactly what we want now. But if we can be sure it won't break anything, we might as well do it now, so that when (and if) these devices come out we can support them immediately. Then, we will want all the upload functions to take the storage ID as a parameter so we can control which storage device we upload to. Richard. |
