As suggested by the command 'jmtpfs -l'
my mobile phone seems not to be recognized:
jmtpfs -lDevice 0 (VID=04b7 and PID=88d0) is UNKNOWN in libmtp v1.1.13.Please report this VID/PID and the device model to the libmtp development teamAvailable devices (busLocation, devNum, productId, vendorId, product, vendor):2, 48, 0x88d0, 0x04b7, UNKNOWN, UNKNOWN
it is a CAT S31 mobile phone (please never buy it!!!)
I am running linux on an old X61 laptop
