This also happens to my Creative Zen 16GB. This isn't a libmtp issue though, it happens on windows PCs aswell. For me, it can be as bad as 1 in 3 times i connect the device to a computer it freezes. I've tried the device on several systems (one suse, 2 winXP) with the same issue. Alan.
