I recently bought a Motorola Black 8GB XT1045 (Moto G) LTE cellular telephone phone from AT&T. When I connect it to my Debian 7 machine, I see:

$ jmtpfs /home/dpchrist/xt1045
Device 0 (VID=22b8 and PID=2e82) is UNKNOWN.
Please report this VID/PID and the device model to the libmtp development team
Android device detected, assigning default bug flags

was already added for 1.1.8 release, so the libmtp of Debian just might need an update. THanks for the report!
