This is a bit of weird question, but we're having problems with some clients not connecting to the server and I would like to know if there's a way to find out the IP address of clients that *are* connected to the server. I haven't been able to find anything in the administration UI, the logs, or the database, but I've probably not been looking in the right place. Sean |

Our Evergreen instance is hosted offsite by Equinox. I setup an internal Stunnel endpoint. I then pointed Libki to that endpoint. Libki <---- unencrypted ----> Stunnel Endpoint <---- encrypted ----> Equinox The traffic between Libki and the Stunnel endpoint is isolated to a data center VLAN. Libki just thinks it is talking to an old fashioned SIP2 endpoint. Under the settings page, she should go to Client Behavior and check “Passwordless Mode”. Then she could just have a generic username for each computer they would type in. Say patron1 for the first computer, patron2 for the second and so on. Just have a note that says username: whatever stuck to the monitor. Hi Everyone, I have a Libki-server installed on an Ubuntu 22.04 server with ILS integration with Innovative Sierra via SIP2 along with a couple of Windows 10 clients. Everything is working great, and I'm hoping to deploy the system in my Library, but I'm unable to access any statistics. Unfortunately, this is a deal-breaker in my library, for keeping monthly stats is very important with administration. When I click on Statistics from the "More" drop-down button I get a message in many different languages that says "Please Come Back Later." I've tried searching for an answer on the Libki Manual but Section 4. Administration and 4.1 Statistics & History is blank. I'm hoping someone can help show me how to solve this, so I can deploy the service in my Library.. If anyone can help me solve this, I am more than happy to write Section 4. Administration and 4.1 Statistics & History of the manual! I have a screenshot of the statistics page attached Thanks! |

Thank you Bradley. I got it to work. I just went into /home/libki/libki-server/lib/Libki/Controller/API/PrintStation/v1_0.pm and commented out line 6. At least for now. Okay, Without knowing specifically about this error, here's what I would try. There are a few possibilities. Either the app is trying to call imagemagick support from the OS in one of the binary folders OR php needs it or both. In some cases ghostscript may also be required but that's developer dependent. So try it first without ghostscript. I would install the following via apt and try again sudo apt install imagemagick imagemagick-common Then you'll maybe need the image magick module for php which does list this thumbnail function as a possible outcome on this page. https://www.php.net/manual/en/imagick.cropthumbnailimage.php This will depend on your php version that the OS is using for any php apps. I installed libki on a Ubuntu 20.04 virtual machine. I went through the wizard and at the end I requested to set up a reverse proxy so I could access the site using the domain name. At the completion of the the install I restarted Apache2 and was able to get to the administration login page using the domain name. When I attempt to log in, I get a "Bad username or password" error message. However when I access the site using the ip address and port number, I am able to log into the server without any issues. Hi Ludwig I have an old version running on Docker. I am just the maintainer, can't really help with direct experience of getting it running that way. I have been advised it's best to run a live system without the Docker environment - but again I can't say if that's a general consensus or whether the Docker option was meant only as a delivery package, or for testing/sandbox. That said, I attached the notes written when Libki was installed, which includes some info on Docker. Please bear in mind this was written in 2017. Hello, Currently I use the libki 20.05 server on the ubuntu 18.04 LTS server, the clients are kubuntu 20.04.2 LTS and I use the libki 20.11 client, the login was working correctly on the clients and was registered on the server, but today no longer Allow to start session in the clients despite entering the username and the keys created in the server, it says "Wrong login", the client computers are connected to the network. Has it happened to someone else and has they been able to solve it? thank you, I appreciate your help |

Hi I have an old version, but as I recall New User is to create an account that can log in on the clients, it is not for creating a staff admin account. My notes for creating new users say: Create User Edit Look for Roles tab Choose Administrator or Super Administrator. Hope that helps. Yeah, the reserve function is great and almost awesome! Just a little reprogramming to let the user know the computer will be needed by someone else at a certain time.(Yes, I know there's no such thing as "a little programming".
