Hello snailer , david ( I write you beacuse I don't know if you're on this list too, please check, if there is something oxygen-special that i missed ) first of all there is a major update for Oxygen . To use isdn you need the following modules in this order for isdn slhc isdn hisax type=3 protocol=2 io=0xXXX irq=X you have to take this from the same kernel you use. Then you need a programm for dialup ipppd en isdnctrl. You can find these programms with the configuration files at http://leaf.sourceforge.net/ericw/package/isdn.lrp i didn't have the opportunity to test this package with oxygen, so it could be possible that there is a problem with the libraries. If so please report back, and we will see what we can do about it,. If you have a ascynchronous isdnconnection, you might want to use ppp.lrp For english documentation especially about isdn look at martin Wheldon's page. http://www.mwheldon.freeserve.co.uk/ in german at my place http://leaf.sourceforge.net/ericw We both use the "eigerstein package" but the configuration is the same. the necessary control and config files are in isdn.lrp http://leaf.sourceforge.net/ericw/package/isdn.lrp Important is that your user daemon ipppd is started (there is a lot in common with pppd.) the function and configuration of the ipppd is controlled by the programm isdnctrl ( in isdn.lrp) be sure that the interface ippp0 is started at boot, or is started manual if you want to control it by hand. Information about controlling the isdn-line at martins website see abouve or at http://www.isdn4linux.de the maker of the control programms. If you got further problems feel free to ask :) Good luck Eric Wolzak http://leaf.sourceforge.net/ericw |
