Hmmm, it seems that you may be on to something.  The reason why I was 
so abnoxious is that these library revisions rarely match the package 
versions, and if they do, then the package maintainer must be doing 
something wrong.  In this case it seems that perhaps the library 
versioning info was not updated for release.
