UPDATE: I added language selection support at ISO startup (PL / EN) and install GUI. For now, this has been implemented for the LABWC / LXQT / WAYFIRE version.

LajtLinux is a collection of lightweight Debian images with minimalist graphical environments using Wayland compositors such as Sway, Labwc, River, Niri, MangoWC, and Wayfire. A variant with LXQt (Wayland) is also available.

It is not a separate distribution with its own package repository, but a collection of ready-to-use Debian images with my configuration and a custom, open-source installer.

I am not focused on creating the most visually impressive desktop. What matters most to me is simplicity, usability, and low resource usage - it should be lightweight and just work.

LajtLinux does not add its own software for tracking users or additional telemetry.

The project is developed irregularly, without a fixed release schedule.

    W koncu cos innego niz oklepane KDE,GNOME,XFCE4 etc. Jak dla mnie 11/10 ;) Ps. Myslales moze o uzyciu Lomiri?

    Dziękuje za pozytywny komentarz :) Lomiri ma info, że nie jest jeszcze gotowy (w pełni funkcjonalny) na desktop "Not yet completely functional on desktops and laptops". W wolnej chwili zobaczę jak to wygląda - dzięki :) Edit: Potestowałem przez chwilę i muszą to trochę dopracować. Da się używać, ale tylko na 1 ekranie. Wygeneruję taki obraz ISO i wrzucę ;)

    widzę poszedłeś w SID na przykładzie KDE !? to wiele dystrybucji padło bo jest bardzo problematyczne i wymagają bardzo dużego zaangażowania aby wszystko chodziło ale są kolesie co szukają wersji sid (i tu można polecić kalilinux)..świetny tytuł projektu teraz wiadomo o co chodzi :)..Ps debian 12 wydany wczoraj trochę mnie rozczarował netinstall krowa 730mb a minimalne kde instalacja błąd na błędzie czy to na kablu czy na wifi co po latach wprowadzili gui..pozdrawiam i sukcesów życzę..

    Wybrałem Debiana w wersji SID - bo ma nowsze wersje programów, a i tak pracuje stabilnie (nie wiem jeszcze, czy docelowo tak zostanie). Chyba nie będę tu zamieszczał dużych środowisk graficznych takich jak KDE, GNOME ... (chyba, że będą takie prośby - że ma to sens). Osobiście bardzo dobrze pracuje mi się z VM takimi jak Sway, Qtile, i3 i bardziej takie wersje będę zamieszczał. Mile widziane z Waszej strony pomysły propozycje. Dziękuję za wiadomość :)
