A Wayland window-stacking compositor
Labwc is a wlroots-based window-stacking compositor for Wayland, inspired by Openbox. It is light-weight and independent with a focus on simply stacking windows well and rendering some window decorations. It takes a no-bling/frills approach and says no to features such as animations. It relies on clients for panels, screenshots, wallpapers and so on to create a full desktop environment. -

A great way to get a lightweight environment with all the features you want. Waydog - A Wayland based release with Labwc, Sway, and Waybar. A fun release that shows some of the potential of Wayland and small window managers. Niri and Wayfire are also available as separate installer options. Click on "Files" and then "Releases" for all download options. Click on the “i” information icon next to the file to show its checksum.
