The hydrological model HYPE is developed at the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI). The model simulates water, nutrients and other substances in small and large river catchments. Included in the project is HYSS, which is needed to run the model. Bedforms-ATM v1.1 was originally developed under Matlab v8.6 R2015b. Therefore, some functionality was limited for later MATLAB releases due to Matlab's variables and in-built functions handling. Bedforms-ATM v1.1 is stable for versions earlier than R2015b. However, for later versions some coding update was necessary. This solver programmed in C applies the Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics method to subsonic incompressible 3d fluid flow. Batch convert Lat/Long to UTM for Zone 19
This simple R code converts GPS coordinates from Decimal Degrees or Degrees Minutes Seconds format to Northings and Eastings in UTM Zone 19. Coordinates should be entered as a .csv containing the column names "Latitude" and "Longitude" (capitalization does not matter). The code was designed primarily for use by researchers at the University of Maine working on the Penobscot River, but could be easily modified to handle other UTM Zones. -
