[Krename-users] Please consider including an appdata file for Krename

Hello,

You may know of the upcoming software centers in KDE and GNOME. These
require that packages ship an appdata.xml file which is to be installed in
/usr/share/appdata/ . The file contains a brief description of the package,
links to 16:9 screenshots and website and contact info. You can read more

There is also a pending proposal for the next versions of Fedora to not
include in the software centers packages without appdata (though a user
could install them from the terminal with dnf or yum). Although I do not
use graphical installers myself, I think that the software centers present
a great opportunity for developers to showcase their applications and of
course for the users, to discover said applications. If you do not have
enough time, I could write an appdata for you and provide 16:9 screenshots,
though I do not use KDE, so it would appear with MATE or GNOME window
decorations.

Please let me know of your decision, so that I may update the list of
applications in Fedora.
