This is a big problem at the moment. KDE4 dropped the whole KFilePlugin mechanism KRename relied on. That's why I added only the MP3/Ogg plugin for now using taglib. Before releasing a stable version I want to add at least support for JPEG Exif information. I have to see wether I can add all the missing plugins using nepomuk/strigi or not.
