There should be a standard dialog for adding the directory if it is
 missing.

If it were designed to more easily accommodate adding files and
 directories, yes. However, it doesn't seem to be, to me. Also,
 doesn't that leave only one page, making it not a wizard anymore?

I was thinking either as that, or just as a modal dialog. I prefer
 it as a modal dialog, because you don't really have cause to stay
 in it after its action completes, and you shouldn't just be
 leaving it for a while. I wish it could be modal to just one tab.
 And, on that note, I need to start a new thread.
