[Krename-users] crash on load

I loaded krename 2.8.5 on my system but it will not start.  I saw a couple of 
posts in the forum.  But I could not follow the replies.

I am running a Fedora Core 1 which I install about two weeks ago.  Before that 
I was running RedHat 7.3 and using krename 2.4.x, which has work flawlessly 
for me.

The error message is as follows:

krename: relocation error: krename: undefined symbol: 
_ZN11KPushButton10setIconSetERK8QIconSet


This is package that I installed:
215416 Apr  8 17:18 krename-2.8.5-1rhfc1.i386.rpm

I am running:
Linux 2.4.22-1.2115.nptl #1 Fri Nov 7 11:30:56 EST 2003 athlon
KDE 3.1.4-4 Red Hat

I could not compile the source package; I have not done much of that.  I could 
not compile the tarball.  Nor could I compile 2.9.3

I am not currently subscribed to this mailing list..

Thank you for any help and insight that you can provide.  

I find the krename is an essential tool.
