Hello, Dom :) When I attempt to add a directory to rename the files in it (or, of course, in it and under it), the window that I get is too big to fit on the screen. Unfortunately, it is also unresizeable :(, so I can't resize it to check the box for adding files recursively. I tried deleting "/home/steve/.kde/share/config/krenamerc", to no avail. In case it matters, I am running Fedora Core 1, all official updates installed. I am also running KDE 3.1.94, installed from KDE's official RPM's for Fedora Core 1. Also, my "/etc/sysconfig/desktop" file reads thusly: DISPLAYMANAGER=KDE I downloaded a new tarball of Krename, and the source RPM. After sucessfully compiling and installing both of them, I still had the same problem. If you say so, I will try changing "KDE" in "/etc/sysconfig/desktop" to "GNOME", but I would like to avoid that if at all possible :) Thanks in advance for your help :) Steven P. Ulrick P.S.: A few weeks ago when I told you that I got my computer running again, I was a LITTLE premature. After ordering another ABIT board, and having my brother Dave rebuild our computer around it, now I actually do have a operational (and so far, stable :)) computer. Therefore, I am looking forward to Krename 2.8.5 :) |
