[Krename-users] Renaming a file with multiple dots in it?!

Hi

I have a problem renaming a file with more than one dot in it (e.g. 
picture-6.8.2003.jpg). The filenames have been created by the function 
[Date/time] of the JPG plugin. 

Because  everything after the first dot is intepreted as an extension and 
can't be renamed properly. I think there is no need for a special treatment 
for extensions.

Any ideas?
