You can simply do this using find and replace. Open the find and replace 
dialog box and enter a single space in the "Find :" text field and an 
underscore into the "Replace :" text field. Now click on the "Save Settings" 
button and KRename will use this settings always.
I know that this replaces every space in the filename into an underscore and 
not only in the plugins. But I would not know why you would want spaces in 
the filename and not in the plugin results.
