Hello, Dom :)
I did as you said, and it works perfectly now :)  One thing I need to
add: the problem would go away before, if I unchecked the appropriate
box in Krename.  It would return as soon as I checked it again, and
would go away immediately when it was unchecked.

Anyway, works great now :)
