Hello Dominik :) I just followed the above advice and made a new Red Hat 9 RPM for Krename. Before I uploaded it to the following location: http://www.faith4miracle.org/krename-2.6.0rc2-2rh9.i386.rpm I uninstalled the last Krename RPM that I had made from my system, and I installed the new one. The result? It works perfectly :) I even downloaded the RPM that I had just uploaded, reinstalled it, and it works fine :) (This might seem a little excessive, but people deserve excellence :)) Please note: The name you gave my first Red Hat 9 RPM of Krename was: krename-2.6.0rc2-1rh9.i386.rpm I renamed the Corrected version with this new name: krename-2.6.0rc2-2rh9.i386.rpm Obviously I did this to distinguish the corrected version from the broken one :) I haven't a clue about rules for naming this kind of thing, so feel free to change it, and more importantly, feel free to give me any teaching on this matter that I may be in need of :) In closing, though I'm glad that the RPM now works to my satisfaction, I'm still puzzled: why did it appear to be installed in the right location before my last re-installation of Red Hat 9? Just curious.... I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. And also, I'm sure you figured this out already, but please upload this new, corrected, RPM of Krename to the appropriate location :) Thanks again for your help, and also for the pleasure of helping out :) Steven P.
