Hello Dominik :) I just reinstalled Red Hat 9, and I thought I'd download the RPM for Red Hat 9 that I made the other day. When I installed it, it came up "command not found" I proceeded to make another RPM and tried that, and again, "Command not found" I can't remember how, but I found out that the RPM installed fine, but instead of being installed in the path that Red Hat uses as the default for KDE (/usr/bin), I found it at /usr/local/kde/bin. I have no idea how that happened, because before I reinstalled Red Hat 9, I was running Krename from the RPM that I made, and it worked perfectly. Could you let me know how to make an RPM that will install Krename in the path that Red Hat 9 uses by default? Whenever I compile anything from source code, I make the prefix to be /usr, and everything always works perfectly. Unless I've done something really silly, it seems that the RPM I made won't do Red Hat users much good right now. Let me know how to fix it, and I'll gladly make another one :) Have a Great Night (or Day), Steven P. Ulrick Oh yeah, forgot to mention: you might have assumed this, but you can count on me to make Red Hat RPM's for all new releases of Krename :) |
