in reply to your question, the answear is YES.
we're still intersted in Krename.

the original idea was to add it to the Krusader II branch, but
 since shie is working hard on the GUI i maintain the kde3 branch.
 currently i put the finishing touches on the 1.03 version and i'd
 love to add Krename support for 1.04-beta1.

the only question that remains is what is the right way to do this
 ? does Krename have a command line API ?
if yes, i'll use it the same way i use Kompare.
if no, than i need to hear from you on how you think it should be
 done.

i also like to hear how do you see the Krename integration from the
 user point of view - how does the user mark files and than Krename
 works on those file or does it just open in the current directory,
 or maybe just an external tool (my least favorite idea).
