Hello Alejandro, > I'm noticing that konserve is doing backups more frequently than I expect= ed.=20 > For example, I have konserve set up, that it makes backups of /etc each 7= =20 > days, and backups of ~/.kde each 3 days, and i have this: I have checked it on my machine and Konserve seems to respect the time since the last backup.=20 If you compile Konserve with the debug configure option=20 =2D-enable-debug=3Dfull than loads of debugging information will be printed out to the konsole (if of course konserve is started from a konsole= ). This information will contain some text like the following for each of your backup profiles: konserve: -----* Backup profile: konserve-stable konserve: Last backup: So Aug 15 14:19:02 2004 konserve: Now : So Aug 15 14:34:22 2004 konserve: Difference : 920 konserve: Remaining : 258280 The Difference line says how much time has elapsed since the last backup and the Remaining line says when the next backup will be made (both number represent seconds). Perhaps you can check if those lines have reasonable numbers for your setup. > Florian, where do you want people to report bugs? The SF.net page has 3 b= ugs,=20 > but no one has a followup. Is this mailing list enough? This list is just perfect. As you can see, I don't check the SF.net page of= ten enough.
