I've been running Keepass forever, using Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. Version 2.17 worked perfectly. Until last week when it stopped.
When I click on the KeePass 2 icon, the cursor shows activity for a few seconds and then it stops. Nothing happens. Keepass does not launch and no Keepass process shows up in Task Manager. If I monitor Task manager while clicking on the KeePass 2 icon, i see the KeePass 2 process start but then it just disappears from the process list.
I uninstalled 2.17 and re-installed it. No luck. I also installed version 2.18 and got the same result. Nothing.
I don't see any similar issue in the user forum but that forum seems pretty confusing to me so I might have missed it. Can you point me to a helpful forum posting or, if not, do you have any suggestions for me?

I raised the priority of this ticket; not having access to any of my passwords is pretty darn important to me. I recognize you may have other fish to fry but I hope you can help me ... soon.
We are not a commercial provider and raising priorities won't make a difference - we do our best when we can.
I suggest renaming/deleting any config files you have, then retrying.

Apart from that, try another computer.
