Sharing.
I am new to KeePass (using keepassXD and XC) and it appears to be just what I need except for one feature. The ability to have two (or more) users each with their own entries, but to be able to share common entries without having to duplicate them. I would envisage an extra field on each entry containing a flag as either True or False. I currently have two users setup up as Groups, but common entries have to be duplicated for each group, thus making editing difficult and unreliable. I am an amateur C# dabbler, but wonder whether the sharing ability could be built in?? Has anyone any ideas?
A little more information regarding my proposed feature:
Imagine a household database containing 150 entries: my own accounts, my partner's accounts, children's accounts and shared household services.
Each entry could have a simple flag:
Entry Shared My view
Home Wi-Fi True Visible
Household electricity True Visible
Partner's work login False Hidden
My personal email False Hidden
Family streaming service True Visible
The behaviour would be:
One useful refinement would be to perhaps make this a view filter rather than a permanent hide operation. That way, one could switch between All entries and Shared entries without having to remember which entries were previously hidden.
The application wouldn't need to manage user identities, encryption keys for individual users, or permissions. It would simply store a Boolean field on each entry and filter the displayed list accordingly.

It is not clear what you are running. KeePassXD and KeePassXC are NOT KeePass. They are third-party projects that are file compatible with the KeePass database format.
Regarding your feature request. KeePass does NOT (corrected) have a username concept and is not likely to implement one. One reason being that it is intended as a lightweight password manager. If you want to share a few subsets of entries in KeePass the easiest way to do this it to create separate databases for each distinct set of shared entries. I manage multiple databases but the complexity increases as the number shared databases increase.
If you wanted to implement a shared multi-database setup like this in KeePass you would not need to, nor should you, duplicate entries across each database. KeePass can open multiple databases in a single workspace. In native KeePass, global auto-type will work across all open databases but searching must be done in each database. There are plugins such as KeeAutoExec and GlobalSearch that would likely be useful in such a large project. Tags and Groups could also be leveraged to simplify access to shared entries where the database access restrictions are not critical.
However, the scope of your expressed needs in your second post far exceeds anything that is likely to ever be implemented natively in KeePass. If you want a turnkey solution with access control for a family group then a product like Bitwarden is probably a better choice. They have a family plan for 6 users for about $48/year ($4/mo). I am not familiar with the full feature set but I expect it is more likely to meet your needs.
Note: I am a long time user of KeePass but not the developer.

Does not have a username concept.

Thanks for catching that.

You can get something similar with the partial/subset export plugins, see https://keepass.info/plugins.html.
I'm currently not planning to implement such a multiple user concept that you suggested.

Dominik
Thank you for your respnses and I understand a lot more now. I have been using Citi-Software's Access Manager (very old now), but its biggest problem is that it does not have an Android version.
Anyway - thanks again for your reponses.
