#2843 Add automatic security update check
Feature request: For the seldom cases like CVE-2023-32784, it would be great to have an automatic security update check, which is turned on by default, next to the automatic update checks, which is turned off by default. Otherwise many users won't update their Keepass before they buy a new computer.

The automatic update check is not turned off by default.
When starting KeePass for the first time, it asks the user whether to enable the automatic update check (and recommends this). See the attached screenshot.
