#2202 Select /display set positions in a given password
I find I am often being asked for 3 or 4 characters from my passwords, particularly for banking;It can be extremely difficult to correctly identify the correct characters, particularly when using long, case sensitive passwords with special characters.
It would be extremely helpful to, at the very least, be able to have the password entry displayed in a numbered grid to enable quick identification of the requested characters. Alternatively, would it be possible to diplay/highlight the requested characters or even auto type them into the entry field on the website?

Dominik, thank you I was looking for a plugin so would never have found this. Managed to make sense of it eventually and have now implemented this.
Paul, thank you, this was extremely helpful to me.
Really could do with a user friendly plugin for this though. Took me a while to figure it out and I am quite tech savvy others may not find it so simple.
I agree it could be easier to use, but because it's so flexible I can't see a mechanism to make a PICKCHARS GUI.
