Thanks Paul,
I checked the problem again, and it is as following: I didn’t find a way to enlarge the text (let’s focus on the main dialog). I’m using the tablet mode of Win 8.1 and the text is too small for adult fingers. Resizing the dialog (without the plug in) does not enlarge the text, it adds real estate to the dialog.
One more issue is the blurry looks of the main dialog on my Win 8.1 screen.
Thanks for your help.

Thank you dominik.
Your first link refers to a global change of the font size. This solution is not good enough.
What I’m looking for is the standard behavior of applications displayed on a touch screen: you do the gesture (the opposite of pinch) and the window zooms in. The font as well as the icons on the toolbar grow as you zoom in.

There is a plug-in to resize dialogues. Check the KeePass web site.

For increasing the font size, see the FAQ:

For resizing dialogs, see the 'KeeResize' plugin:

KeePass supports high DPI in the meanwhile.
If you want to change the font size of KeePass only, consider using the KeeUIExt plugin, which provides an option for that.
