    Hi,

Keepass documentation about command line has a section for opening a
url. I tried the following in a windows shortcut but it doesn't do anything:

    "C:\Program Files (x86)\KeePass Password Safe 2\KeePass.exe"
    -entry-url-open -uuid B9F8F1049A340447BE5D9A3ED4CB4BDA

What am I doing wrong as the associated url is not opened? BTW: The UUID
I got from cloning an entry and replacing the fields with references.
Then I copied only the UUID part of it

Thanks for any help on this

    Best regards

    Marc

    • There is a syntax error in the command you posted. The syntax is -uuid:uuid e.g.:

      -uuid:B9F8F1049A340447BE5D9A3ED4CB4BDA

    • Make sure the database that contains the entry with the specifed UUID is already open in KeePass before you run the command line.
