If the option 'Do not store data in the Windows clipboard history and the cloud clipboard' is turned on (which it is by default), KeePass now additionally excludes its clipboard contents from processing by Windows' internal ClipboardMonitor component.
cheers, Paul

Thanks! I got it to work by turning off all 3 options in the Clipboard (Main Entry List) section.
Unchecking only 'Do not store data in the Windows clipboard history and the cloud clipboard' did not work.

@ Tim I am using ditto too for some specific processes but would not dream of allowing any clipboard to keep a copy of any password entries. I regularly check to see if ditto has kept entries that should not be there and have autodelete after one day configured. Does this not totally negate the benefit of having a password manager?
@ Paul - can you point me to the settings for the "Do not store data...." as having just checked this in my version, I cannot find something to this effect. I do see under Advanced settings a box offering "Copy URLs to clipboard instead of opening them...." and nowhere I see a reference to cloud.

As you said in your other post, you are using KeePass v1. Paul was referring to KeePass v2, which is what most people use now. However, I downloaded and ran v1 to check, and found similar options on the Memory page of the v1 Settings dialog.

Thank you - I never changed to the other version as I was happy with V1 and did not see any featured in V2 that seemed important to me. Thanks for your reference to the memory tab - got it now.

Just upgraded KeePass to version 2.44. Now when I copy usernames and passwords from KeePass, they do not show up in Ditto - a clipboard companion app.
Thats by design and no one wants to have passwords in the clipboard.
Using Auto-type there is no need for any clipboard activity.
The last version worked fine. I use it all the time to copy other things like usernames and URLs . Is there a setting to allow it?
From the release notes.
