I can no longer access saved password profiles. All of my saved profiles are grayed out (see KeePass1.PNG) and ability to save password profiles are grayed out (see KeePass2.PNG).

    Please advise.

See the KeePass 2.54 release notes section about Password Generator Profiles for details about all changes introduced in KeePass 2.54.

On the password generator dialog press the button with the shield on it and provide the computer's Administrator password. If you don't have Administrative privileges, contact your Administrator. Your administrator can add password profiles to the KeePass enforced configuration or relax the security protections for password generator profiles. The latter is not recommended because the new security measure protects against unauthorized modification of your password profiles. See this post for details https://sourceforge.net/p/keepass/discussion/329220/thread/f3a64df33e/#ed64/7fe7.

Thanks. I was afraid it was security related.

I will run it in a VM, where I have Administrator rights. Is there a way to copy the password profiles from my local to my VM, or will I have to re-create them.

    Thanks again.

The greyed out profiles should transfer automatically (be enabled) when you supply your Admin credentials.
