When double clicking a login entry a little green bar appears at the button right hand corner of KeePass and doesn't go away until I restart KeePass. What exactly does that little green bar mean since double clicking an entry doesn't appear to do anything.

If you click on the user name or password column the value is copied to the clipboard. The green bar is the clipboard timer to show how long you have before the clipboard is cleared.
To set the clipboard clear behaviour select Tools > Options > Security, Clipboard auto-clear time.
