I have a new HP Laptop x360
I am running Windows 10
KeePass ver 2.34
I have tried both Chrome and Firefox with no luck.
Have used the example from geeks and that works but I have no idea why. Says title has to be 100% accurate in the title page but not sure how I get a title for any of my passwords pages. I have tried CTL V and that give me the title page in password. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

Many different ones. But tried DROPBOX. Opened NOTEPAD and used the ctr/alt/a and nothing happens. Will check out the link you posted and see if I can understand it. Thanks

After several hours I have found that one of the auto-type web pages had two saved (user/password) where one would work and the other didn't. When I clicked on ctl/atl/a both pop up. Pick the wrong one and none of the rest would work, pick the right one and most of the others would work. Deleted the saved wed page and set it up again, rebooted and tried to see if it would work and it doesn't. Some of the others do though. Some of the ones that don't work are Keepass, msn.com and a few more. The KeePass Forum on is another matter and maybe I can figure that out because of where the sign in is located. Great program and willl stick with it for awile longer. Thanks

www.msn.com sign-in forwards to the microsoft login page https://login.live.com/ (plus stuff). The Window Title of the microsoft login page contains the string "Sign in to your Microsoft account" (without the quotes) .
Name your KeePass entry Sign in to your Microsoft account or create a custom auto-type sequence with a target window (include the trailing asterisk): Sign in to your Microsoft account* . Use the standard keystroke sequence:
{USERNAME}{TAB}{PASSWORD}{ENTER}

To get Global Auto-Type to work you only have to match part of the title.
Ctrl V doesn't search for a matching entry, it Auto-Types the currently selected one.
See the example in the Help.

What page are you attempting to fill in?

Please give us one example of a site you can't log into and the matching KeePass entry - change the user and password when you post them.
cheers, Paul
Thank you.
I have been trying to auto-type
www.msn.com
using the default and then trying'
{TAB}{ENTER}{USERNAME}{PASSWORD}

Just calling the KeePass entry "Microsoft Account" would also work.

Paul, thank you very much. That worked and will give me a clue as to any other web pages I might have trouble with.
