I'm trying to install KeePass on a home computer where two users are normally signed in simultaneously and just lock/switch between the users as needed leaving the inactive user signed in in the background. Each users wants to run KeePass and so two instances of the program run, one for each user.

This by itself works fine but whenever I try to start KeePass on the second user while the first user has it running in the background I get this error message:

"Could not start listening for RPC connections. KeePassRPC will not function and any services that rely on it will fail to connect to KeePass."

Otherwise the program works fine but without the RPCs working the second user is unable to make use of any plugins (in our case KeeFox) that rely on it. I figure the issue is that both instances of KeePass are trying to listen on the same port but I haven't been able to find anyway to change the port.

I'm running on Windows 8.0 Pro with all the recent patches installed through Windows Update if that helps. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you!

(I have tried chaning the port in the KeeFox settings which doesn't seem to have any effect--it still works for the first user and doesn't for the second. The issue appears to be within KeePass and so it occurs before KeeFox even has a chance to try to connect and so I don't think its directly related).
