Hello, two days ago I wanted to open my passwords on my iphone through the IOSKeePass app/file and it suddenly said "Folder is empty". I have been using it for two years and never had this happen. I also never messed with any folders or files on my phone and an clueless how it could have gotten deleted. The folder is hosed on iCloud and I hoped I could restore the file somehow (it says last modified on March 12th), but the file is also not in my iCloud "restore file" section.

Does this mean all my passwords are gone? I never used KeePass on other devices or created a backup. I thought the cloud was enough. I was also wondering if I need to download a newer version but couldn't find IOSkeePSss anymore on the KeePass landing pages.

    Thank you!

First, make a backup of your database.
Then check if your phone has made a backup for you.
    https://support.apple.com/en-au/guide/icloud/mm122d3ef202/icloud

Next, open the database with another KeePass compatible app, like the browser version of KeeWeb. This will show if your database actually has entries.

If you have another device / computer you can copy the database / backup to that device and open it using KeePass etc.

    cheers, Paul

p.s. IOSKeePass, AKA KeePassMini seems to have a checkered history and doesn't appear on the Apple store. It may be worth using another app.
