I installed KeePass 2.28 the other day and was getting a error msg about keepasshtml.dll, so I put the .plgx file in instead. Now when I try to load a username/password for a site, it tells me KeePassHtml.pglx is not running, so I have to go into KeePass and manually cut/paste them in. Also, on Sourceforge.net it gave me the error msg "no login", so I had to manually login as well.
One more thing, I tried to install KeeFox, but was having the first problem, then uninstalled it, I'm not sure if this is part of the problem.
I always would have to start keepass, then also put in the password for my Firefox password manager as well, so I don't know if it's something on that end either.
Any help is appreciated, thank you!

well, I tried to use KeeFox again, wouldn't connect to KeePass no matter what I tried, tried PasslFox, didn't work. Now I just alt-tab it to KeePass and click on the key for the page then use the auto-type. Really getting sick of KeePass though, might just end up using DoNotTrackMe (now Blur) for a password safe since they have one and I use DNTM anyways... Thanks for the suggestion and trying to help though, I do appreciate it, Paul.

It's not KeePass fault that you are trying to use 2 conflicting plug-ins. I suggest you start with a bare copy of KeePass, then add just one plug-in when you have decided which one to use. You will need to remove the add-ins from Firefox first.
FWIW, I don't use any browser plug-ins, KeePass has all the automation I need by using Global Auto-Type.
cheers, Paul

Basically I agree with Paul but I found that the WebAutoType plugin makes KeePass even better. It supports all browsers and needs no additional modules.

keepasshtml.dll is for use with PassIFox, not KeeFox. Do you have both products installed? Which one do you want to use?
BTW, you don't need to cut / paste from KeePass, drag n drop is much easier.
