Ich muss jetzt wirklich mal nachfragen. Ich habe heute ein Problem mit Slack und Keepass.

Ich nutze Keepass 2.34 portable. Also die aktuellste Version. Und ich nutze seit ein paar Wochen Slack über Chrome Browser. Jetzt hatte ich zwei mal das Problem dass ich von einem Tab in Chrom in den Tab von Slack bin und danach in das Feld zum schreiben. und plötzlich schickt keepass einfach eine gmailadresse und das passwort dazu und schickt es ab. Es ist definitiv das keepassverhalten, langsames tippen und enter. Es ist zum glück ein altes passwort was ich nicht mehr benutze aber das nervt trotzdem gewaltig da ich im keepass auch überhaupt nicht auf diesem eintrag war. der ist alt und nicht mehr nötig. Im Zwischenspeicher war nichts, das habe ich geloggt. Hijackthis findet nichts und kaspersky findet auch nichts.

Da es nur passiert wenn ich in das schreibfeld von slack klicke, wenn auch nur manchmal, und nur keepass das passwort kennt, muss es keepass sein das das schickt. Und das kann ich nicht nachvollziehen.

Wie kann das passieren? ICh habe keepass jetzt neu gestartet und die zwei autotype optionen deaktiviert, nicht dass es noch irgendwas anderes verschickt. Aber das ist schon etwas erschreckend für mich.

Hat jemand eine Erklärung?

KeePass sendet niemals etwas von alleine !
Du hast einen anderen Formfiller oder Hotkey der dies auslöst.

Ich verstehe das nur nicht. Es passiert nur mit Slack und ich sehe auch keinen Grund warum gerade dieser Eintrag. Er ist nicht ausgewählt und ich habe nichts extra eingerichtet dafür.

What KeePass plug-ins do you have installed? Remove / disable them and test.

KeePass RPC is the only one. It seems to be needed for Firefox.

KeePass RPC is needed for KeeFox, an auto field filler. Try disabling it in Firefox.
KeePass works happily in Firefox without any plug-ins - it's what I use.

It works though one has to search in keepass alot.

It did not happen anymore after restarting keepass but still, a random entry was sent and only this one. Don't understand how this one was picked.

It is KeeFox that does the picking, I don't know why.

To use KeePass without having to search try using Global Auto-Type.
