This might be confusing but since I been updating Windows 10. I have noticed that keepass data doesn't update in that it doesn't reorder to show that it updates in Explorer. I have that setting to show the newest update go to the top of the list it remains where it's at but doesn't update to the top of the listing to show it was update but remain back where it was at only. I know in the past when I do a sync keepass data update the local file would update and move the folder it was in to the top of the changed file in Explorer to show it was recently updated.

I recall in the past when I sync my database it would list the folder where it was at as most recent in the explore listing of folders. Only recently with Windows 10 updates have I see that stopped. And if I want to find it I have to scroll back up the list to find it. I have my explorer set to list date modified fodler/files to be at the top of the list.

What is the "Date Modified" on your database file after you perform a sync?
What is the "Date Modified" on the folder that contains your database after you perform a sync?

You appear to be talking about the KeePass database.
KeePass is not responsible for the folder order in Windows Explorer.

Windows updates the folder timestamp aftert activity in the folder. maybe that no longer happens in W10.
What version of W10 do you have?
