This is probably a dumb question, but I've looked through the help files and I can't find and answer. How can I change (or preferably delete) the Master Password in KeePass 2.34? I need to give somebody a copy of what I've got, but I refuse to give them my password.

Backup your database (make a copy of the .kdbx file) in case things go wrong.
Open your database
While the database is open, select File>Change Master Master Key...
After you have changed the master password select "File>Save As>Save to File...". This will save the active database with a new name. The new database will use the changed master password, the original database will retain the original master password.

Give the new database a new password, then give that password to the person you are giving the database, but separately. Then if they lose the database your data is still secure.

I normally have Keypass Touch db.kdbx file on Dropbox and synced to my ipad and iphone. I recently replaced my iphone but now can't use it to open the file. It is asking for my password which I've forgotten. No problems with using the ipad as facial recognition is at work there. I don't understand all this but is there a way I can save a duplicate db file to dropbox with a different password from my ipad and then possibly open that new file on both iphone and ipad using the new password?

That did it, thanks. It was right in front of me all the time. I knew it was a dumb question. ;-)
