We set up an RDS-Farm and we published Remote-Desktop-Manager from Devolutions and KeePass along other Software.
Now hen we start KeePass over RDS it starts and immediately opens the Password-Box to enter the Key for the Database. Unfortunately somehow the Box is not shown and all we see is the empty KeePass. At this very Moment you are unable to do anything else in any other Program. So no clicking anywhere or anything. You have to hit the ESC-Key to close the Password-Box and be able to do anything.
If you then open a Database by yourself, the same thing happens, but this time you see the grey, transparent overlay but still no Box - but you are able to enter the password blind and hit Enter so that the Databse opens.
Attached you find a Screenshot. This what it looks like when KeePass shows up, but there is no Password-Box and notheing is clickable until you enter the ESC-Key.
I assume that when you open Keepass that way it somehow refreshes the view or something and the Password-Box goes somewhere in the background where the RDS-App ist not able to grab it. On RDS-Webclient all works great, so does it in a Desktop-RD-Session.
Is this a known problem or has there been any fix for this? Currently we are running on KeePass 2.27.
It looks pretty good so far, thank you! Is there any Security Issues with this? Or is it the same advantages with UAC-Dialouges being on a secure Desktop?

Issues are the same as a normal desktop, although I would expect an RDS session to be more secure because it is managed and I assume the manager has half an idea about security.

Thanks!
Maybe you have turned on the option for entering the master key on a secure desktop and the RDS app cannot see this desktop.
Best regards,
Dominik
That could be. Where would I find such an option?
Tools > Options > Security, Advanced.
You need to cancel any password input window before you can access the options.
