Keepass is not saving the data. The last 'save', and activity, shown on screen was 3 days ago. Since then I have made a number of changes AND saved them away. At the time, the program shows the correct date etc of the save. When I go back to the program for my next entry or information it only shows the entries up to 3 days ago. This also applies to the backup file.
    What is going on please?
    Thanks
    Martin

Are you saving to a different file?
Are you saving to local disk?
How do you select the database when you go back to it?

    cheers, Paul

    Thanks Paul
    - it is saved to the same file AND to a backup file
    - Both files on separate local disks
    - icon on screen & item on 'start'

I have just checked the dates on the 'current' file and the 'backup. The backup is right! The 'current' is not- it is 3 days old!
I have made an alteration to the 'current' one and this shows to have happened on the main panel. The backup is also showing the same date.
I will see what happens when I log in tomorrow

I think I am going to have to abandon Keepass. This morning, the panel showed that the correct date & time of the last activity and of the last modification.
However, one entry that I know was modified last night, and the day before, has reverted to stuff I put in on 14 November!
Even the backup is the same.
It is fortunate that I have also copied everything to another, much older, password safe system, which I was hoping that Keypass would replace.
Unless there is a logical explanation of what is going on, I will have to ditch it. I cannot afford loss of data.

ps as a thought I am using a backup plugin 'DB Backup plugin for Keepass'. I will remove this and see what happens.

There will be a logical explanation - always is. Maybe the backup plug-in thinks you have selected save but have not, so it creates a backup without a save.
    Are you using triggers?
    Is the save destination writeable?
Are you running any sync software?

    cheers, Paul
