Cant get into my database, the file extension has changed to kdbx.temp

    A temp file is created when KeePass saves the database when it uses File Transactions - this is the default setting. If you stilll have a temp file you may have had a problem while saving or the machine shutdown while KeePass was attempting to save the database.

    KeePass doesn't care what the extension is, only what the contents are. Rename the file to KDBX and see if it works.

    You may need to restore a backup if the above doesn't work - you do have a backup?

    You should backup your entire machine to an external disk using a (free) backup program like Aomei Backupper. And you should have multiple copies of your most valuable file, the KeePass database.
