I have tried several times, using different mirrors and different download managers (Free Download Manager, Firefox). Nothing works! I get what appears to be a complete .zip file but it is always only 22.6KB in size. Same is true for ADB for 1.09.
Has anyone else seen this? Any suggestions gratefully received.
Thanks,
GCF

I also couldn't get either the Keepass V1.0.9 exe installer or the zip version from source forge.
I was using IE7 (no download managers) and the Australian mirror and it eventually timed out. Tried again several times with same result.
I never had any problems with any older version of Keepass
I was too silly to use a different sourceforge mirror, but I googled a bit and found other sources...
Thanks

Thanks for the tip, but going directly to dfn.de doesn't let me find the mirror and the only option available on the Sourceforge download page is an unnamed mirror in Dusseldorf. No joy there, either.

If you are using Zone Alarm (or other firewall that does not allow cookies/activex/mime/web bug) then some Downloaders can't properly make connection to the server. Also, keep in mind that some download sites use PHP and make things worse. Bes approach is the disable the Downloader, and use "Save target As" feature of Right Context menu.

If you can open it from the server, your download is working. The problem must exist locally when saving direct to disk.
What download program do you use?
PHP makes no difference to the ability to download files.

Some download managers use multi part downloading. Some also have other options allows to make downloading easier.
I personally use Down Them All for Firefox, and I know for a *fact* that enabling a particular option in DTA (at least in older versions, I cannot find the setting now in the current Beta) would make all my DL's appear screwy. The option was something along the lines of "pre-allocate space on HD for download" or something to that extent. It *always* hosed every download I made, and it took me several days of troubleshooting to find that out.

I can only use the direct link on the Sourceforge page, maybe thats it!
I tried that, it didn't work either. What I finally did was to open the .zip file from the server then save a local copy.
Thanks to all,
G

I use the built-in downloader in both Firefox and Internet Explorer and they never miss a beat. 3rd party products are no longer necessary.
