In V2 you are asking KeePass to open and minimize. If you already have KeePass running and set to single instance, it will pop up the unlock box. If you already have KeePass running and not set to single instance, it will open minimized and the lock status will depend on your current settings.
You cannot start minimized and locked with command line switches.
To lock existing open V2 database(s) use this command line: KeePass.exe -lock-all

I play with the command line option (because of lost settings again) and I would start Keepass in mode -lock.
But if I run ...
KeePass.exe MyDataBase.kdbx -lock -minimize
Keepass open and ask always for the master key.
I would expect that Keepass is minimized and locked and not ask for the key.
What I make wrong here?
The "-lock" option is KeePass V1 specific.
