I used keepassx and throughout time, I've created several databases in .kdb format. I have several versions and although one database I use lately that is new, I still have some confusion about many entries in these databases. Now I'm migrating to Keepass. Some databases have duplicates, and some of these older versions have been created in Windows systems with Spanish date format, so instead of
MM/DD/YYYY, it's used DD/MM/YYYY. My question is: if I decide to import to finally use only one database and I decide to keep the newer version of each entry, will keepass realize that the fact that in Spanish the date format is the opposite and compare correctly? It's important because for example 01/10/2014 in Spanish is October 1st, and in English systems is January 10th. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I only ever use DD/MM/YYYY, it's the best way to read dates.
KeePass stores dates in UTC format so no data is lost in different zones/countries. e.g.

If you are going to use KeePass to merge the files I suggest you import all the files into a new database. This will allow you to choose how to handle entries that are the same.
cheers, Paul
