i added HostTitle1.1 as an extension to chrome. however keepass does not autofill when i press (ctrl + alt + a) - what do i do wrong?

I assume you now have the URL / Title in the window title of Chrome.
To match this you need to either have the KeePass entry title as a sub string of the Chrome title, or turn on "an entry matchers if it's URL / host appears in the window title", under Tools > Options > Advanced > Auto-Type.
