I tried the same database on another computer and it works there. And on the problamatic computer if i create a new database and save it then opening the new database also gives the same error. So i think the keepass v2 is corrupt on my computer. I am using the portable version. Can anyone help me correct the KeePass on my computer?

Or you have a virus on that computer, or a dodgy disk, etc…

    1. On the good computer plug in a USB key and copy the KeePass program (KeePass.exe) onto the USB key.
    2. Open KeePass from the USB key and create a new database on the USB key.
    3. Test the new database.
    4. Close KeePass and remove the USB stick.
    5. Plug the stick into the bad computer and try opening KeePass and the database.

    cheers, Paul

@Paul i did as u said, the new database was working fine on good computer but not on bad computer. I would also want to add that a plugin named KeePassHttp.plgx is incompatible on bad computer but compatible ongood computer. So i am sure now that the bad computer have some problem. May be keepass have added some information/data to user directory or emp directory or registry that it causes the problem.

KeePass does not write anything apart from a config file, so this is not likely to be the cause.
KeePass uses .NET to run, so I would re-load .NET on the bad computer and test again.

    cheers, Paul
