I am not able to drag and drop password into fields in chrome. The relevant settings in 'Options-->Policies' has been done. I have no idea of a solution or as to why this would be happening.
I tried using then, Two-Channel Auto-Type Obfuscation method, but that too didn't worked. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.
I am using Windows 10 bdw.

Does the problem affect all web pages in all browsers e.g. prevent drag & drop on http://keepass.info/help/kb/testform.html when using Chrome and Firefox? Or does it affect just a few sites. Some web pages block drag and drop.
The policy Allow sending information to other windows using drag&drop should be checked (to Allow drag & drop).
Two-Channel Auto-Type Obfuscation (TCATO) does not apply to drag & drop or copy & paste. It only applies to Auto-Type.

I tried using drag and drop in gmail and facebook, both on chrome, and it didn't worked. I tried using it in gmail on firefox and it worked! So I deduce that its a chrome specific problem.

I can confirm the Drag and Drop problem with Chrome Browser
Version 53.0.2785.143 m (64-bit)
KeePass is version 2.34
Works fine with Firefox and Edge on Windows 10 x64
Tested also with the KeePass test page
All programs are running with the same privileges.
Auto-type works fine in all Browsers

OK, The problem appears to be Chrome related, there may be a second factor that I haven't identified. I have been able to "reproduce" the problem on one computer with a brand new install of Chrome (Chrome had never been installed on the computer). On another, older computer, drag and drop from KeePass works fine. The computers have the configuration below but are different ages (one new, one several years old).
Windows 10 x64 (with the recent anniversary edition update)
KeePass 2.34
Chrome Version 53.0.2785.143 m (64-bit)
Control Panel>System>System(section)>Pen and Touch:(item)
Older Computer: "No Pen or Touch Input is available for this Display"
New Computer: "Pen and Touch Support with 10 Touch Points"
I tested drag & drop between Chrome and drag & drop enabled apps including KeePass, MS Word, and the Firefox address bar and search box.
Older Computer: Drag & Drop to a web page field in Chrome works between all drag and drop enabled apps.
New Computer: Drag & Drop to a web page field in Chrome produces a different result.
If the user drags & drops text onto a field, e.g. KeePass, the field is not populated but the focus shifts to the Chrome Address bar.
If the user drags & drops text that is a URL onto a web page field. e.g. http://KeePass.info, Chrome navigates to the specified web page and the Chrome Address Bar contains the URL (as one expects when one navigates to a web page).
Conclusion: The Chrome Address Bar appears to be a preferred destination of drag & drop operations to Chrome, in some Chrome installs. I have not found a Chrome setting that affects this behavior, but I am not a regular Chrome user.

Wow! WellRead1 u shud be in the Software Testing field instead of me! Bdw, can any one tell me how to enable email notifications for a particular thread? There is a 'Follow' button on the top right, but clicking on that opens an XML page of some sort.

Drag and drop works fine for me for Gmail and Facebook in the Chrome Browser.
Thanks, I will look into these. But from which other apps can I check drag and drop? Also, how can I check user privileges?
I tried dragging and dropping into KeePass test page, but it didn't worked.
